The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) recently announced its 2016-17 Honors Court, and the list included Medaille College senior Johnathan Belton and junior Justice Fagan. The NABC Honors Court recognizes student-athletes (juniors or seniors) who earned a cumulative grade point average of a 3.2 or higher. Both Belton and Fagan were also selected to the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team this past season.

Students from many academic disciplines including art, business, education, science, and technology explained their work using posters or presentations. Students used gallery and performance space to demonstrate work in the performing and visual arts.
Justice Fagan of Batavia, NY, Helps Medaille Men's Basketball Earn AMCC Title and NCAA Tournament Appearance
Following its Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship victory on February 26, the Medaille College Mavericks men's basketball team saw its 2016-17 season come to an end on March 3 with a first-round loss in the NCAA Tournament. Genesee Community College took top billing at the 50th Annual Conference of the New York State Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges (NYSMATYC) in Syracuse, NY on April 7-9, 2017 with four GCC students taking honors and collectively earning $2,750 in scholarship awards-a GCC record for this particular conference. Students have been named Presidential Scholars for the fall 2015 semester at Clarkson University.
Over 150 Ithaca College students were named to the Empire 8 President's List. In order to be considered for the President's List, a student-athlete must earn a 3.75 grade point average or higher while participating in a conference-sponsored sport.

104 Ithaca College students have been inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is the only national honor society which recognizes and encourages superior scholarship in all disciplines of higher education.
The SUNY Geneseo chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society recently inducted students into the organization during a campus ceremony. Sophomores, juniors or seniors with a grade point average that places them in the top 15 percent of their class are eligible for membership.

On May 9, 2014, over 120 students were recognized for a variety of achievements at the 25th Annual Student Awards Banquet. The Student Awards Banquet is hosted by Student Activities at the end of each academic year. The event celebrates student achievement, athletic successes, club and organization involvement, and success in Student Government and Student Activities.
